Olivia Dopheide is a senior anthropology major with minors in Latino studies and international development studies. Her senior capstone project, under the advice of Dr. Catherine Bolten, focuses on the role of agriculture in refugee resettlement in the United States. Using qualitative analysis, she hopes to learn more about the potential use of farming as a means to improve self-sufficiency. Dopheide has also worked on two projects as a student researcher for the Pulte Institute for Global Development helping to assess community development in Peru as well as create an evidence gap map in collaboration with USAID.
