A conversation on “Gender and Democracy in Mexico” with historians Gabriela Cano and Saúl Espino Armendáriz, professors from El Colegio de México and co-editors of the Diccionario Biográfico de las Mujeres de El Colegio de México: Las generaciones constructoras (COLMEX, 2024).

The conversation will address their academic work, the state of the field of gender studies in Mexico, and the role Professors Cano and Espino Armendáriz have played in creating the Center of Gender Studies in Mexico.
