About the Integral Ecology Working Group
The Integral Ecology (IE) Working Group seeks to provide a platform for more focused discussion on the notion of integral ecology, the notion at the heart of Pope Francis’ ecological encyclical Laudato Si’. Francis sees integral ecology as the “integrated approach” which brings together the various dimensions – scientific, economic, cultural, spiritual, political, and educational – in responding to the twin cries of Earth and of the poor.
