Fiona Gambuzza '29 is a member of the Glynn Family Honors Program at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Biological Sciences. She is interested in the intersection of global health, economics, education, and medicine. In high school, she completed two cancer research internships at Weill Cornell Medical School and Montclair State University. Additionally, she has established partnerships with Memorial Sloan Kettering, University Hospital, and her local food pantry to provide free cancer screening and educational services to uninsured and low-income guests in her community. At Notre Dame, she is involved with the Global Health Club and Global Health Mentorship Program.
Fiona would like to participate in the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program for the opportunity to go beyond wet-lab scientific research and understand the broader economic, legal, and developmental systems shaping global health and clinical outcomes in modern society.
