About

Carlos Jison is a Neuroscience and Behavioral Health major with a supplemental major in Theology. He is passionate about research in the cognitive development of children and the impacts of blindness on youth education and life outcomes. Jison is particularly interested in working to aid children in marginalized communities around the world particularly in developing countries such as his home country of the Philippines.

As someone who has been educated under the Holy Cross tradition, Jison strives to approach his research by caring for people holistically with a zeal in order to improve the lives of those in need. As a researcher, Jison is involved as a research assistant in the Cognitive Learning and Development Lab with experience in clinical research in Uveitis and Macular Degeneration.
