A New Legacy
Part of The Keough School of Global Affairs
The Donald R. Keough School of Global Affairs is the first new school at Notre Dame in nearly a century. In keeping with Notre Dame’s mission to place scholarship in service to the common good, the Keough School advances integral human development through research, policy and practice; transformative educational programs, and partnerships for global engagement. Founded in 2014, the Keough School builds on the strengths of nine institutes focused on international research, scholarship, and education at Notre Dame.

Our Mission
Promoting Research Excellence
The Kellogg Institute for International Studies promotes research excellence on critical global challenges, with a particular focus on democracy. Building on a core interest in Latin America and Africa, the Kellogg Institute fosters research on the developing world and beyond.
Supporting the research and educational mission of the University of Notre Dame by engaging faculty, students, and visiting scholars in a supportive intellectual community, the Institute works to project the University onto the global stage.
The Kellogg Institute forms an integral part of Notre Dame’s Catholic mission by addressing normative and scholarly concerns that embody the values reflected in Catholic social thought.
