Vitaliy Kosovych (Ukraine) is a Ukrainian lawyer who successfully graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine (LL.B. and LL.M.), Bucerius Law School & WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Hamburg, Germany (Master of Law and Business with specialization in Entrepreneurship), and Notre Dame Law School in the USA (LL.M. in International Human Rights Law). He also completed different courses, exchange and non-degree programs at the Universities of Vienna, Tübingen, Heidelberg, Bonn, Miami, California-Berkeley, St. Gallen, Hague Academy of International Law, Central European University, etc. After graduating from the LL.M. Program at Notre Dame, Vitaliy worked for 14 months in Geneva as a Research Fellow at the Holy See Mission to the UN and other international organizations. Throughout his career, Vitaliy has accumulated legal and managerial experience in both the public and private sectors, as well as within civil society.

He is joining Notre Dame as a JSD student to conduct research on child labor in the context of business activities. Vitaliy’s interests include business and human rights, policymaking, diplomacy, investments, entrepreneurship, and international arbitration. During his time at Notre Dame and throughout his future career, Vitaliy aims to enhance effective governance and policymaking, improve legal protection mechanisms, and promote sustainable human-oriented entrepreneurship.
