Sodiq Dare Ayoade is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on the political and historical foundations of land conflicts and interstate relations in Africa, focusing on how colonial legacies and contemporary governance structures shape regional cooperation, contestation, and democratization. He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University in Nigeria. Prior to joining Notre Dame, he completed his national service with the Federal Inland Revenue Service, where he worked as a Research Assistant on taxation policy.
