Kayleigh Vitu is a sophomore at Notre Dame, majoring in international economics, romance languages and literatures with a concentration in French. She is interested in a diverse array of subjects, including public economics, historical research and preservation, and international affairs. During the spring 2024 semester, Kayleigh acted as an transcriber of oral histories, capturing the testimonies from American veterans regarding the U.S. involvement in the Lebanese civil war from 1982 to 1984. Kayleigh is eager to further develop her research capabilities and learn from experienced professionals.
