Jimmy McHugh, class of 2026, is majoring in economics and statistics with a concentration in financial economics and econometrics and a minor in the Hesburgh Program in public service. Outside of the classroom, Jimmy serves as Co-President of the Gaelic Athletic Association. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and traveling.

He is particularly interested in quantitative analysis, social equity, including studying food insecurity, and international economic development. Jimmy hopes to build upon his research abilities to contribute towards meaningful and impactful projects, both personal and in collaboration with others.
