John (Jack) Nash is a senior studying science-business and global affairs. He works with Professor Steve Reifenberg, who is currently working towards publishing a piece on accompaniment in international development, as well as a number of other papers. Nash also has a history working with Steve on improving course offerings at the university that surround mental health and wellness to build a more fulfilling life.
Nash spent the summer of 2022 doing an Experiencing the World Fellowship through Kellogg in La Paz, Bolivia. As he has an interest in studying the socioeconomic determinants of health, his fellowship with Child Family Health International focused closely on identifying barriers indigenous people in the country face when approaching the healthcare system. Nash spent the spring semester of his junior year studying abroad in Puebla, Mexico to acquire a more evolved understanding of global health in the region and how the intersection of science and business can improve health standards in developing nations.
