Kelsey Kennedy is currently assisting Professor Marc Müller on a research project intended to look at the human rights implications of water resources exploitation for water extractive industries. Additionally, she is investigating the effect that water availability has on conflict by evaluating conflict levels in regions where dams are constructed. Her work involves reviewing literature to diagnose specific water stress challenges, data compilation, and topographical analysis using Google Earth Engine. Kennedy began working with Professor Müller due to her interest in access to clean water, including both the causes and impacts of restricted access to water resources.
