Faculty Fellow Rev. Daniel Groody, CSC (theology and global affairs) is quoted in an Our Sunday Visitor article about the widespread implications of the government shutdown for the U.S. immigration system.  The article describes the shutdown's effects on courts, families, and politicians, and considers the changes that 2019 could bring with regard to this issue.  Rev. Groody says, "The problem here is we are conflating terrorists with people who [are] seeking protection because their lives are in danger."
