Janeth Manriquez is a Ph.D. student in Spanish at the University of Notre Dame's Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. Before attending Notre Dame, she earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2022. Her research explores 20th and 21st-century Iberian and Latin American literature and film produced by women, engaging with modern and contemporary continental thought. She focuses on themes of feminism, posthegemony, and infrapolitics.
