Iris Choi is a junior at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in applied and computational mathematics and statistics (ACMS). Driven by her endless curiosity about the world, Iris conducts research in Professor Susan Blum's School Stories Lab, an Anthropology research lab that gathers firsthand school experiences to inform policymakers on enhancing education systems on a global scale. In this role, she conducts interviews and analyzes data to uncover key trends. Having moved across countries and interacted with diverse groups of people, Iris constantly learns from others, which fuels her passion for exploring the factors behind education disparities and improving systems to reduce inequality. Fluent in English and Korean, she thrives in multicultural environments, combining her strong quantitative foundation with her engagement in the humanities to tackle complex problems with both precision and creativity. Iris is committed to making a meaningful impact by integrating her analytical and creative skills in both academic and professional collaborations.
