International Development Studies Minor

Students may choose from a list of elective courses approved for IDS.  These will be listed in advance of course registration each semester under courses on the Kellogg webpages as well as through InsideND's class search tool.

  • When possible, students are encouraged to take an elective outside a student’s major college.
  • One of these elective courses must be taken outside a student’s major.
  • At least one elective must be from a set of "core" development courses to be specified each semester.
  • With approval, one course may be taken abroad.
