About

Greta Kolbeck ‘26 is from Hannover, Germany, and studies Theology. Kolbeck’s research interests include the development of democracies and the intersections of religion and politics. She is particularly interested in examining how religion influences countries' domestic and foreign policies and can strengthen or limit democracies.
Kolbeck is also drawn to the study of political efforts to combat climate change and environmental crises. Within this topic, she is interested in exploring how religion and faith connect to efforts of integral ecology to counter the climate crisis and foster sustainability.

As a part of the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program, Kolbeck is hoping to enhance her research skills and to learn from faculty by getting involved with research.
