Eric Derr is a sophomore double-majoring in Chinese and PLS (Program of Liberal Studies), with a French Minor. His research interest is how language can be used to elevate and empower people, transform laws (and perceptions of them), and how people interact with them. Eric also serves as the Secretary of the Notre Dame Mock Trial Association, and works at Fighting Irish Media/ND Studios as the Asset Management Student Manager. In his spare time he enjoys reading and learning how art is conserved/restored.
