The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the University of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds linkages related to democracy and human development.
Our welcoming intellectual community helps foster relationships among faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and visitors that promote scholarly conversation, further research ideas and insights, and build connections that are often sustained beyond Notre Dame.

Students who have been a part of Kellogg Institute undergraduate programs remain a part of our community long after they graduate. ISP Alumni Virtual Talks
The Kellogg Institute is hosting a series of virtual talks with its distinguished alumni. The week of March 18-22, students of the Kellogg International Scholars Program are invited to meet with four of Kellogg's ISP alumni via virtual Alumni Talks. Below are more details about each session. Kellogg alumni will talk about their careers and share advice with current students. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity by signing up to meet with at least one of them.

Kellogg International Scholar Isabela “Isa” Tasende believes today’s most pressing issues — immigration, violence against women, private business influences — are best understood and addressed from an interdisciplinary perspective.
If you were just walking by the residence hall, you’d never know that Abigail Keaney ’24 (global affairs and political science) keeps 100 books stashed under the bed in her room. She’s had them since her sophomore year, when she had to find storage space for a collection given to her by Kellogg Faculty Fellow Brian Ó Conchubhair, who became her mentor through the Kellogg International Scholars Program (ISP).
Two brothers, Joe and Jack Drey, who both pursued International Development Studies minors at different times, and from different disciplinary approaches, agree that through the program they’ve grown in confidence and have learned how to carry out scholarly research projects that can have a real global impact.
