Ashley Straub ‘24

Ashley Straub is conducting research under Professor John Onyango, who is working on the project “Maternity Spaces and Integral Human Development. Healthy Settings in Maternal-Child Health Centers in Africa.” Straub assists by organizing documents from all the collaborators in different portals and working on the focus group surveys. She also supports Dr. Onyango by entering data on SPSS and analyzing the data as it comes from fieldwork.

Straub will study abroad her junior year in Italy through the School of Notre Dame’s Architecture Program. There she will have the opportunity to visit and learn about environmental psychology from Dr. Onyango’s research partners at the Dipartimento di Architettura Università di Firenze.
