NOMINATION DEADLINE EXTENDED to  Monday, February 28, 2022

The Kellogg Institute for International Studies is seeking nominations of undergraduate students for the annual Considine Award for the Study of or Service to the Church in Latin America.

The award recognizes a Notre Dame undergraduate’s exemplary study and/or service to the Catholic Church in Latin America. It is named for Rev. John Considine, a Maryknoll priest whose commitment to the US Church’s mission to Latin America illustrates the Kellogg Institute’s preeminent concern with the matters of human rights, democracy, and integral development in the global South.

Students who are nominated will be required to submit (by March 11) a resume and a one-page letter explaining how their service and/or academic work relates to the selection criteria of this award, which comprises a certificate and a $1000 cash prize.
