Former Kellogg Visiting Fellow Rossana Castiglioni is the dean of social sciences and history at Diego Portales University in Chile and co-editor of the Journal of Politics in Latin America. Her research focuses on Latin American politics, comparative social policy, and democratic representation.

She has been visiting professor at Harvard University's DRCLAS, Leiden University's Department of Latin American Studies, and Oxford University's Harris Manchester College. Her work has been published in various academic journals such as the Journal of Social Policy, Latin American Politics and Society, the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis, the Journal of Politics in Latin America, The Developing Economies, and Electoral Studies, among others. She holds a PhD from the University of Notre Dame.

Castiglioni has a degree in Sociology from the University of the Republic, Uruguay, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
