Aníbal Pérez-Liñán

Kellogg Institute Director, Aníbal Pérez-Liñán, co-authored a piece in International IDEA in which he analyzes political party fragmentation in Latin America. 

“The persistence of democracy in Latin America, even in circumstances initially considered unpromising, such as the presence of multiparty systems and presidential parties with less influence in Congress, represents an important finding of our work,” the authors find.
