Thematic Interests

The complementarity and tension between the notions of human dignity and equality lie at the heart of my research interests. From the disciplinary perspective of theology, this closely relates to the concepts of the imago dei, ecclesiology, and eschatology. Underlying this interest is a persistent question about the formation of virtue and the cultivation of an imagination that might lead to peace with justice in the southern African context.
