Visiting Researchers

Fulbright Chair

Fulbright-Garcia Robles COMEXUS Mexico Studies Chair

This program, in partnership with Fulbright COMEXUS, aims to create and/or strengthen ties between US universities on the one hand, and academics and their higher education institutions in Mexico on the other, as well as to promote greater knowledge of Mexico in the United States and of the bilateral relationship for the benefit of both countries.

The ideal candidate must be an academic person established with extensive full-time teaching experience in a higher education institution, in the area of social sciences. However, applications from academics who are establishing their professional career with a minimum of 8 years of experience may be considered. The scholarship offers the opportunity for accomplished social scientists and humanists to teach courses about Mexico at the University of Notre Dame.

Although teaching the course is a fundamental objective of this program, the scholarship recipient must also organize an event or seminar about Mexico, promoting discussion in the Notre Dame community, as well as developing research on a relevant topic.
