The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the University of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds linkages related to democracy and human development.
Kristian Lax-Walker, the Ford Programs administrative coordinator, joined the team in 2009, motivated by her deep interest in improving health and the quality of life for everyone. She plays a crucial role in the administration of the interdisciplinary minor in International Development Studies and enjoys working and supporting students. Lax-Walker also serves the University as a Wellness Champion and as a member of the Staff Advisory Council. She holds a BA in speech communication with a focus on organizational communication and a minor in psychology from Indiana University South Bend.
