Kellogg Postgraduate Fellowships

The Kellogg Institute announces postgraduate fellowships for graduating students of the University. Students who seek funding for practical experience related to sustainable development may apply. (See full eligibility details below.)

Applicants may receive up to $6000 for a practical experience that students have been awarded with a reputable organization for a period of up to 6 months. The experience must relate to sustainable development and can take place in the United States as well as around the world.

Note: Students are responsible for obtaining visas, if required, for the experience.

 
Eligibility

Graduating Master of Global Affairs students with a concentration in sustainable development as well as graduating seniors of the Kellogg International Scholars Program and/or International Development Studies minor may apply. Applicants must find a reputable organization that will offer them practical experience. The experience should require applicants to utilize skills gained from the degree they are currently earning from ND and should be consistent with the mission of the university.

 

Funding

Students may receive up to $6000 to cover airfare, food, and lodging.

Requirements

Recipients will be required to attend a meeting about the fellowship.

Upon completion of the experience, recipients will be required to submit a 2-page report to the Kellogg Institute.

When you log in, you will be asked to submit the following documents:

  • Application form
  • The offer letter from the organization noting that the student has been awarded a practicle experience, the dates, where it is located, and if any funding is being offered
  • Budget form
  • One page explanation of what the student will be doing and how it fits with sustainable development
  • One page statement of motivation
  • Resume
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Transcript
