Juliet Hooker
Juliet Hooker, assistant professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin, will spend fall 2006 at Kellogg.
She will research “Building Post-Mestizo Democracy: Race, Nationalism, and Multicultural Citizenship in Nicaragua.” She will be working on two new chapters of her book manuscript, which examines how multicultural citizenship in Nicaragua has affected the identities of minority groups and their attitudes toward the state.
Hooker holds a PhD in government from Cornell University.
