Institute Services
Kellogg Main Office
The main office (130) is open from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. during the academic year. Summer hours (late May–mid August) are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Photocopying
The photocopy machine is located in the hallway on the second floor. Each visitor will be allowed to make 2,000 ‘free’ copies. Because the photocopy machine is equipped with an accounting system, you will be provided with your personal access code. Once you reach the limit of 2,000 copies, the copier will not operate until you expand the limit by buying future copies in advance. We ask you to buy in lots of 500 at a cost of $25. Please note: Copying of entire books is a violation of copyright laws.
Denise Wright can assist you with photocopying material directly related to Kellogg presentations and events. Please note, however, that the staff are not authorized to copy or mail PhD dissertations, personal correspondence, or any research material that is not intended for presentation at the Institute. These are the sole responsibility of the Visiting Fellow or Guest Scholar, though Denise will be glad to advise on which local businesses offer the most reasonable prices for these services.
Faxing
A fax machine is available at the Kellogg Institute in the main office. All faxes must be sent by the staff in the main office. The Institute will pay for faxes only if they relate directly to Kellogg business (e.g., Institute grant proposals, directors’ projects, or Kellogg conferences). The fees for faxes will be deducted from the monthly office telephone allowance.
Express and Courier Mail Services and Shipping
The Institute will not pay for express mail or any other courier service unless the mailing contains material directly related to official Kellogg business. Should you wish to use these services for sending personal and professional materials not connected to Kellogg business, you will be asked to pay the costs involved in advance. All use of such services must be approved by Denise Wright.
Visitors should note that the Institute is not able to pay for mailing or shipping of research materials such as books, notes, journals, working papers, etc., back to your home state or country. These mailings are the responsibility of the visitor.
