Application for Occupancy
Faculty Residences
University of Notre Dame
Visiting Fellows associated with the Kellogg Institute for International Studies may, at their option, lease a furnished on-campus faculty apartment administered by the Notre Dame office of Business Operations. Leasing arrangements should be coordinated well in advance and through Denise Wright (see below). One month’s rent is required to reserve an apartment. Checks should be made out to “University of Notre Dame” and mailed to Denise’s attention. This deposit will be applied to the first month’s rent. In the event of a cancellation, Business Operations requires a 30-day notice or the deposit will be forfeited, in whole or in part (prorated based on the days less than 30). A security deposit ($400 for a one-bedroom or $500 for a two-bedroom apartment) will be required upon move-in.
Six one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units with living rooms, bathrooms, and kitchenettes are available for Kellogg Visiting Fellows. The two-bedroom units are reserved by members who come with families. One of the single bedroom units is equipped to serve visitors who are physically disabled. No pets allowed.
Apartment furnishings include towels, bed linens, pillows, blankets, bedspreads, dishes, cookware, and utensils. Each apartment is equipped with a television; kitchen appliances including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Utilities, cable service, internet, local telephone service, daily trash removal, and weekly cleaning are also included. Laundry facilities are available in the building.
Rental fees for the one- and two-bedroom apartment units are
One-bedroom: $900 per month
Two bedroom: $1125 per month
Please note that the above prices are subject to change.
As part of the Visiting Fellowship, the Institute will subsidize $250.00 of the monthly rent listed above.
