Guest Scholars

Guest Scholars are visiting faculty members or scholars from other institutions who are granted temporary status at Notre Dame. Although this carries no financial assistance, the Institute can provide support services that may help you in your research. Guest Scholars have access to the library, electronic mail and Internet, and other university facilities and services. On a space-available basis, shared office space and/or an on-campus apartment may be offered to Guest Scholars upon request.

Guest Scholar candidate proposals are brought before the Kellogg Faculty Committee for review and approval. To apply to be a Guest Scholar, please send your CV, a short statement about your project, and a short letter indicating why and when you would like to be in residence at Notre Dame. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
