I’m a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. Broadly speaking, I am interested in the costs of war. Substantively, I study international relations with regard to the intersection of national security and political economy.
I’m currently a fellow of the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP). As a Clifford C. Clogg scholar at the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) I have received certifications from the Empirical Implications of Theoretical Models (EITM) Institute in game theory and rational choice models of politics and society.
Prior to graduate school, I was an active duty U.S. naval officer and served aboard the USS MOMSEN (DDG-92) in addition to other duty stations.
