Fernando Bizzarro NetoFernando Bizzarro Neto

PhD Fellow

I am a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. I first came to the Kellogg Institute as a Guest Scholar after receiving a grant from the Sao Paulo Research Foundation, Brazil, in the fall of 2012.

I earned a BA in social sciences with emphasis in political science (2010) and an MA in political science (2013) at the State University of Campinas (Brazil). Additionally, I was an associate researcher at the Center of Studies in Public Opinion (CESOP-UNICAMP) and coordinated the center’s working group in Brazilian politics.

My research interests include political party organization, elections, public opinion, and political movements. Some of my work on these topics has been published in journals (with Rachel Meneguello) and edited books. I am a member of the Editorial Council of the journal Paraná Eleitoral and a reviewer for other Brazilian journals.
