Symposium on Teaching and Learning
Indigenous Languages of Latin America
Travel and Accommodations
Dear STLILLA Participants:
Thanks to generous funding from the National Science Foundation's Documenting Endangered Languages Program, Latin American Studies Association (LASA)-Ford Foundation Special Projects, the Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs (CLASP), and university partners, we are able to offer travel funding for participants coming from Latin American institutions. We regret that we are unable to provide travel funding for participants from US, Canadian, and European institutions. However, some conference meals will be provided and there will be no conference registration fee.
We have also negotiated competitive conference rates at area hotels. When booking hotels, please be sure to request the "Notre Dame/Kellogg Institute STLILLA" rate as indicated in the attachment. These rooms will be held at these special rates until September 30.
If you were the person who submitted a panel proposal, it is your responsibility to act as the point person for that panel and pass this information along to the other panelists.
Lastly, you will also see that we have placed participants into tentative panels. Once we have confirmation from all participants, we will begin to work out a conference schedule.
Thank you very much for your patience with and participation in this process. We look forward to a successful conference and hope to see you in October!
Sincerely,
STLILLA organizing committee
