Latin American Students at the Notre Dame Libraries

Many students may not realize that in addition to over 100,000 volumes related to Latin America, they can access a number of specialized resources that support research related to the region.

While all books and journals related to Latin America can be located through the library’s general online catalog, nearly all other resources specifically geared toward helping you locate materials on Latin American can be found on our Latin American Studies Subject Page. These include specialized search engines to find academic articles on particular subjects (like the “Hispanic American Periodical Index”); links to news sources from and about Latin America, as well as links to a wide range of research tools, organizations, and information sources related to Latin American studies.

If you need any assistance with research on topics related to Latin America, contact our Latin American Studies librarian: Scott Van Jacob, 217 Hesburgh Library, 631-6587 or vanjacob.1@nd.edu.
