Events
Through numerous events, the Kellogg Institute aims to promote awareness of Latin America and other regions in the context of the Institute's research agenda. In all, the Institute organizes more than 50 academic events each year.
Throughout the academic year, the Institute organizes lectures spanning the entire spectrum of academic study to address the Institute's research concerns. The Kellogg Institute also cosponsors an annual human rights lecture to commemorate El Salvador's Archbishop Romero, who was slain in 1980.
The Institute typically sponsors one or two international conferences each year, often in conjunction with other departments of the University and outside institutions.
In addition, Kellogg also cosponsors roundtable discussions on current events. Finally, the Institute cosponsors cultural events to broaden attention to international studies among the Notre Dame community.
