Tara Kenney
Managing Director, Deutsche Asset Management, Inc.
As managing director for Deutsche Asset Management, Inc., Kenney has acted as a portfolio manager for Deutsche’s (formerly Scudder’s) Latin American equity product for over 15 years. She has also been a co-manager for the firm’s Emerging Markets equity product. Prior to joining Scudder, Kenney was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank and Bankers Trust in their Latin American groups from 1984 to 1994.
She serves on the boards of directors of Accion International, the EcoEnterprises Fund, a program of the Nature Conservancy, and the World Education and Development Fund, Worldfund.
Kenney received a BA in political science and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame in 1982 and did postgraduate work in economics at the Pontifical Catholic University in Lima. She earned an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 1991.
