Brian A. Kenney
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, GATX
Kenney was elected chairman of the board of GATX in October 2005 after having been elected chief executive officer in April 2005 and president in October 2004.
He has held various management positions at GATX, including senior vice president, CFO, and vice president of finance. Prior to joining GATX as treasurer in 1995, Kenney was managing director, Corporate Finance and Banking, for AMR Corporation, which he joined in 1990 as a principal in its Corporate Finance group. Previously he held financial positions with United Airlines and Morton International, Inc.
He serves on the Board of Directors of USG Corporation as well as the Board of Trustees of the Shedd Aquarium.
Kenney received his BBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1981 and his MBA in finance in 1983 from the University of Michigan.
